Vendor show helps raise funds for Sullivan pool

SULLIVAN, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — In an effort to raise money for the Sullivan Pool, the community and local vendors came together.

Over 20 vendors set up shop at the Sullivan County 4-H Fairgrounds. Attendees could find everything from jewelry, clothes and handmade crafts. Over 100 raffle drawings gave away items like restaurant gift cards and gas cards.

One vendor says it’s important to have a pool for kids in the area.

“I have grand kids growing up and I know they’re going to enjoy it,” Janice Golish, organizer of the event said. “They don’t have to go out of town. We need something in Sullivan for the kids. Let everyone come here. Spend their money here in this town in this community.”

All vendors fees and money collected will go towards the construction costs of the pool.
