GREENE COUNTY, Ind. (WTWO-WAWV) — In Greene County, a vehicle accident involving a utility pole creates some traffic issues.
Late this afternoon, the Greene County Sheriff”s department says the 71 year old Ronald Nelson of Clay City was traveling North on C.R. 1000 West at the intersection of C.R. 200, when his vehicle ran off the roadway and collided with a Linton utility pole.
Because of the accident, the roadway was blocked off at C.R. 1000 W and W State Road 54 and 1000 Wand C.R. 300 N, due to power lines in the roadway.
As of 7:45 pm, Greene County officials stated that the roadway was back open to traffic.
