What’s different about the new WTWO app?

FARMERSBURG, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Make sure you update your WTWO News app to stay up-to-date with all of the latest news, sports and weather from across the Wabash Valley.

Navigating the new app

The new app design can be a bit tricky to navigate at first. Here are tips on how to find the most commonly used sections and features.

“Hamburger Menu”

The “Hamburger Menu,” which can be found in the top left corner of the app and looks like three horizontal lines, is going to be your best friend in the new WTWO app.

From there, you can navigate to specific sections of our online stories, any special projects we’re doing and our search function as well.

Notifications

Our new targeted push notifications keep you connected while also assuring you are only getting the news you want.

When you first open your app, you will be asked to choose what notifications you want. You can make changes to this list anytime by clicking the notification icon in the top righthand corner of the app or by scrolling toward the bottom to the “Get Notifications” section.

New features

Every video we add to MyWabashValley.com appears in our video center on our website. Now, the last 10 videos we add will also appear in the “Local Video” section of the new app.

The weather section has also been rebuilt from the ground up. At the top, you’ll find the latest forecast from Your Local Weather Authority.

Below that is a 36-hour forecast for your current location.

Under the 36-hour forecast is a detailed look at current conditions and an hourly forecast for your current location.

At the bottom of the section is the radar followed by a seven-day forecast.
