‘Unverified threat’ puts Honey Creek Middle School on lockout

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Honey Creek Middle School was on a lockout Thursday morning while authorities investigated an “unverified threat,” according to Vigo County School Corporation Director of Communications Bill Riley.

“Lockout means that class resumes as normal, and the school is closed to visitors,” Riley explained.

The lockout was lifted around 1:30 p.m.
