VIGO COUNTY, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Every year Clothe-A-Child has a unique auction to help with children in need of clothes.

This year it will be auctioning off a quilt, made by the “Vigo County Quilt Guild”. The quilt will be on display at the Vigo County Public Library on October 1.

All proceeds made during this auction will go to clothe over one thousand children in Vigo County.

President of the “Vigo County Quilt Guild” Debby Johnson said, she hopes the public realizes how much the organization helps the community.

“Become aware that Clothe-A-Child is there and it’s doing a very good service for the community, that’s the most important thing for me. We’re just doing this because we want to help them,” Johnson said.

The date for the auctioning of the quilt has not been scheduled yet, but we will keep you updated as soon as those details become available.
