TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — A special celebration took place on Thursday at Union Health’s Cardiac Rehab Center in Terre Haute.
Union is celebrating the birthday of Wilma Heady, a long-time patient of the center and a cancer survivor.
Heady is turning 100 years old!
She and her sister Wanda Morris, who is 98, both enjoy exercising at the center.
“I like to come here and exercise because, seeing the people and being around people, because when you sit alone by yourself all the time it gets kind of lonesome,” Heady explained.
Wilma has been going to the center for about 7 years, and Wanda for 15 years.
