TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — In a Facebook post the Terre Haute Police Department has released the names of the two people killed in a crash involving a car and a train early Thursday morning.
According to a THPD officer, the incident happened around 12:30 a.m. Jan. 6 near the intersection of 17th and Hulman Streets in Terre Haute. The driver of the car attempted to make it around the crossing arms of the train crossing, police said on Twitter, which resulted in Brianna Clark and Subrina Smith being ejected and ultimately dying from their injuries.
