SULLIVAN COUNTY, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Two people were arrested after drugs, including six grams of meth, paraphernalia, cash, and a handgun were found during a traffic stop.
According to a post from Sullivan County Sheriff Jason Bobbitt, deputies conducted the traffic stop on Thursday, around 11:30 p.m. at the intersection of Main and 5th Street in Farmersburg.
During the traffic stop, the post notes that “several indicators of criminal activity were apparent” and that deputies brought out a K-9 named Kaiser to check around the vehicle. The deputies then conducted a search of the vehicle based on probable cause.
The search of the vehicle resulted in around six grams of methamphetamine, around 100 grams of marijuana, a handgun, cash, hypodermic syringes, and other drug paraphernalia.

Brittney Jackson, 25, of Terre Haute, and Ryan Snyder, 37, of Vincennes, were both arrested.
- Jackson was charged with the following:
- Possession of 5-10 grams of methamphetamine while in possession of a firearm
- Dealing marijuana
- Possession of drug paraphernalia
- Possession of a hypodermic syringe and driving while suspended prior
- Snyder was charged with the following:
- Possession of 5-10 grams of methamphetamine while in possession of a firearm
- Dealing marijuana
- Possession of drug paraphernalia
