PARKE COUNTY, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — This weekend folks are invited to see wild bald eagles and other birds of prey at Turkey Run State Park.
The “Eagles in Flight Weekend” will kick off Friday night at 7:15 p.m. with various bird programming lasting through the weekend until Sunday.
Events include live birds of prey demonstrations, songbird banding, eagle nest driving tours, and an owl prowl.
The Friends of Turkey Run and Shades State Park will hold their annual silent auction online throughout the weekend as well. Attendance of park events is not required to bid in the auction.
