TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Trans-Care Ambulance in Terre Haute is celebrating 30 years in the community.

A celebration held Thursday included a resolution presented by State Senator Jon Ford. The resolution recognized the ambulance company for its impact on the community and the state of Indiana.

Trans-Care CEO and President Russell Ferrell said he’s thankful to the community leaders, first responders, and 911 dispatchers for their support over the years.

“We work closely together,” says Ferrell. “We’re all communicating strongly. I want to thank all of them for being by our side there for those 30 years.”

Facility tours were provided to those in attendance as well. Trans-Care Ambulance began operations in 1992.
