VIGO COUNTY — A traffic stop resulted in a drug arrest Sunday in Vigo County, according to Indiana State Police.
An ISP trooper patrolling near US 41 and Johnson drive Sunday night pulled over a vehicle driven by Tessa Cooprider, 39, of Terre Haute. Cooprider was found to be driving a on a suspended license.
After noticing “suspicious activity,” the trooper searched the vehicle, locating marijuana vape pens, paraphernalia, digital scales, plastic baggies, two hypodermic needles and methamphetamine.
Cooprider was taken into custody and transported to the Vigo County Jail where she is being held pending posting of bond.
Initial charges included dealing methamphetamine, possession of a hypodermic syringe, maintaining a common nuisance, possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana and driving while suspended.
