LOOGOOTEE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — A traffic stop led to drug dealing and child neglect charges for a Shoals woman.
After pulling over a vehicle driven by 36-year-old Melissa Wininger of Shoals, Thursday evening, Martin County Sheriff’s deputies found syringes and approximately 12 grams of methamphetamine packaged into multiple small baggies.
Minor children were also present in the vehicle.
Wininger was charged with multiple drug offenses, including dealing methamphetamine, as well as three counts of neglect. She was transported to the Martin County Security Center.
