TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Due to a traffic signal cabinet replacement project, some areas along N. 13th Street will be closed for a few days.
According to the director of construction and asset manager Bradley Utz, starting on November 13 and lasting through November 17, the Terre Haute Street Department will begin replacing the traffic signal cabinet at the corner of N. 13th Street and Lafayette Avenue.
During the replacement, N. 13th Street will be closed from Maple Avenue to Collette Avenue. Local traffic will still be able to access southbound traffic between Collette and Lafayette Avenues.
The detour routes will be as follows:
- Northbound 13th St. traffic will detour east onto Maple Ave., north onto 14th St., west onto Collette Ave. then north onto N. 13th St.
- Southbound 13th St. traffic will detour east onto Collette Ave., south onto 14th St., west onto Maple Ave. then north onto N. 13th St.
