TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Drivers who regularly utilize Fruitridge Avenue near Terre Haute North High School will begin to see lane restrictions soon.
According to the Vigo County Highway Department, crews will begin reducing the roadway to one lane in each direction starting September 12. The restrictions are due to bridge rehabilitation work that will be performed.
That work is expected to run through most of the fall with the project expected to finish on November 20, weather permitting.
The area of the restriction will run along Fruitridge Avenue in the section that spans between Locust Street and Maple Avenue.
For questions or concerns regarding this project contact the Vigo County Highway Department at 812-466-9635.
