CLARK COUNTY, Ill. (WTWO/WAWV) — Drivers who utilize Clarksville Road in Clark County will need to find a new route Tuesday.
According to the Clark County Sheriff’s Office, the Highway Department will be closing Clarksville Road from Cardinal Lane to the cemetery from 8 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. Tuesday to allow crews to remove large trees.
While the road is closed to through traffic, locals reportedly can access all residences throughout the closure.
The sheriff suggests drivers take Four Mile Drive to get around the closure.
