DAVIESS COUNTY, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — An 18-year-old has died as a result of a tractor crash in Daviess County Tuesday night.
According to the Daviess County Sheriff’s Office, the incident occurred at 11:10 p.m. near the intersection of County Road 1000 N and County Road 775 E. Odon.
Investigating deputies said a tractor being driven by Kevin Knepp, 18, of Odon, veered off the roadway for an unknown reason into a ditch causing the tractor to flip upside down and land on Knepp.
Knepp was pronounced deceased at the scene of the incident. The Daviess County Sheriff’s Office is leading the investigation into what happened.
Assisting the sheriff’s office at the scene were Plainville Volunteer Fire Department, Daviess County Ambulance Service, the Daviess County Coroner’s Office, and two wrecker crews.
