UPDATE: The town of Knightsville is no longer under a boil water advisory, according to an email from employee Jacob Raubuch. All Bac-T samples collected came back satisfactory for Knightsville’s water system and customers may return to normal.
KNIGHTSVILLE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – The town of Knightsville is under a boil advisory until further notice.
According to Knightsville Water Operator Jacob Raubuch, the town’s water had to be shut off while a valve was being installed.
He says the water pressure was less than 20 psi and IDEM requires a boil advisory.
Samples are being taken to ensure the safety of the water.
Raubuch says the town will be advised when the boil advisory is lifted.
