First Responders win Salvation Army’s Red Kettle Trophy

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Envoy Sue Lindon of the Terre Haute Salvation Army on Wednesday presented Sgt. Ryan Adamson of the Terre Haute Police Department with the Traveling Red Kettle Trophy. Through their bell ringing efforts, the THPD helped raise $1,748.43 this season for the Salvation Army.

Other first responders also came through for the Salvation Army. The Terre Haute Fire Department raised $1,058.16 and the Vigo County Sheriff’s Office raised $864.43.

Their efforts helped to bring the kettle campaign to collections of $101,661.19 out of a target goal of $120,000.
