TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Area first responders including local police are inviting residents out for dinner and a movie.

According to THPD Sgt. Justin Sears, the event is being held at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, September 27 at Fairbanks Park in Terre Haute.

While the film being shown has not yet been announced, the movie is planned to begin at 6:30 p.m. on a large inflatable screen in the park’s amphitheater, with the K-9 demonstration taking place at 5:30 p.m.

Attendees can also expect free hot dogs and drinks as well as food vendors should they desire additional nutrition.

Other activities will include goats from the Old 40 Farm in West Terre Haute, as well as a pitching-tent with members of the ISU Baseball team on hand to meet visitors.
