TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Following an early morning Friday incident where a car reportedly crashed into the Terre Haute Qdoba location before fleeing the scene, an arrest has been made.

That’s according to Terre Haute Police Sgt. Justin Sears, who said that investigation led police to arrest 43-year-old Gary R. Cooper Jr., of Terre Haute.

Responding officers said a vehicle struck the east side of the business at approximately 4 a.m. Aug. 4, damaging it.

Cooper was arrested Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. and preliminarily charged with leaving the scene of a property damage accident, operating with a suspended prior driver’s license, and a misdemeanor warrant issued from Terre Haute City Court for possession of marijuana.
