Terre Haute Police have made multiple arrests following a reported armed robbery last week.

Brandy Reeves, age 20, D’Andre Caruthers, age 17, both of Terre Haute, and Charles L. Carter, 36, of Middletown, Ind. are all facing armed robbery and other charges after an incident that occurred last Wednesday in the 2400 block of South 11 1/2 Street in Terre Haute.

According to authorities, the victim went to that area to buy a cellphone, but instead had cash, a cellphone and his wallet stolen.

The victim reported being battered and struck several times with a firearm. He was shoved out of the car as it was moving.

Police noted that while Caruthers is a juvenile, the case was automatically waived to adult court due to the seriousness of the charges.

This is an ongoing investigation, and anyone with information in the case is encouraged to call Det. Brad Newman at (812) 244-2656 or Det. Brad Rumsey at (812) 244-2667.
