TERRE Haute, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Update: After a driver had crashed their vehicle into the front of a local business and left the scene, the Terre Haute Police Department provided an update on the investigation.

According to THPD, the Vigo County Sheriff’s Department has located the car that was involved in the incident. However, no arrests have been made and the investigation is still ongoing.


Original: Terre Haute police were investigating following an early-morning crash into a restaurant.

Police reported no injuries in the crash that happened around 4 a.m. Friday at Qdoba at Riverside Plaza along 3rd Street in Terre Haute.

Responding officers said a vehicle struck the east side of the business, damaging it. The driver fled the scene, police said.

As of 7:30 a.m. police investigators were still looking into the incident.

The business was closed at the time and no injuries were reported.
