TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — A partnership between Terre Haute North’s Bring Change to Mind Club, the local Hallmark store, and Duke Energy is helping to keep people warm.
On Wednesday, the multiple organizations and businesses involved brought hats and scarves to the West Vigo Community Center to help people in need. The “Bring Change to Mind Club focuses its efforts on mental health. The club’s president, Sadie Osburn, said this was a way to let people know the community is there for them.
“It needs to be shown that there are people who care about you, even if you think nobody cares and so that’s what my message is all about,” said Osburn.
Osburn says Hallmark and Duke Energy funded 150 hats and 150 scarves for the community.
