TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Firefighters responded to a structure fire at a vacant home on Sunday evening.
According to Terre Haute Fire Department Chief Bill Berry, the report came in around 8:48 p.m. for a home in the 600 block of N. Water Street. Upon arrival, firefighters saw smoke and flames but had the situation controlled in around 30 minutes.
Berry noted that no one was in the residence and there were no injuries.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
