TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV)– The Terre Haute Fire Department is investigating a fire that took place Saturday morning in the northern part of the city.

According to a release from Terre Haute Fire Chief Bill Berry, the alarm came in just after 7:00 a.m. in the 1600 block of Blaine Avenue. Smoke and flames were visible when crews arrived, but the fire was knocked down quickly, and no one was hurt.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
