TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – The Indiana Chapter of the American Red Cross says the nation’s blood supply could soon be impacted by flu season.
With the CDC expecting a sever flu season, the Red Cross is urging people who are eligible, healthy, and feeling well to donate blood. The nation’s blood supply is already struggling. The Red Cross says donors of all blood types are needed, and especially those who have Type O blood.
Donors can schedule an appointment by using the Red Cross Blood Donor app, by visiting their website, or by calling 1-800-RED-CROSS.
