TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – The Vigo County School Board is expected to vote at a board meeting Monday night on the potential consolidation of Meadows Elementary School.
Last week, the community had its final chance to voice its opinion on Meadows at a public listening session at the school.
VCSC Interim Spokesperson Dr. Katelynn Liebermann said that the board took all feedback into account as they mull its decision.
“The board really appreciated the opportunity to hear from our community and to take into account the information that was provided,” Liebermann said.
Liebermann stressed that the school board will keep the community’s best interests in mind no matter what decision they ultimately take.
“The focus is on making the best decision for the corporation, for the district and all of our students,” Liebermann said. “I know the board is taking into account all information that has been provided and shared.”
