‘The Ethics of Rescue’ to be presented on Zoom Saturday

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — The ethical questions faced by the overwhelmed military officer and doctor who liberated the Bergen-Belson concentration camp will be discussed and the daughter of one of the camp’s survivors will tell her mother’s story via Zoom Saturday at 4:30 p.m. in “Dr. Bernice Lerner Presents: The Ethics of Rescue,” offered by CANDLES Holocaust Museum and Education Center.

Lerner’s book, “All the Horrors of War: A Jewish Girl, a British Doctor, and the Liberation of Bergen-Belsen,” can be purchased, and using the code HTWN will save patrons 30% when going through Johns Hopkins University Press.
