TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Police in Terre Haute say an investigation led to the discovery of a large amount of methamphetamine and the arrest of a Terre Haute man.

According to THPD, on August 11, Vigo County Drug Task Force detectives were led to a residence near the intersection of S. 19th and Poplar Streets. A search of the residence reportedly turned up more than 60 grams of methamphetamine as well as numerous guns.

Police then arrested 39-year-old Thomas Jamerson for the following charges;

  • Dealing in methamphetamine – 10 grams or more (x2)
    • A level 2 felony
  • Conspiracy to commit dealing in methamphetamine – 10 grams or more
    • A level 2 felony
  • Dealing in methamphetamine between 1 and 5 grams
    • A level 3 felony
  • Possession of methamphetamine – 28 grams or more (x2)
    • A level 3 felony
  • Unlawful possession of a firearm by a serious violent felon
    • A level 4 felony
  • Possession of a narcotic drug – less than 5 grams with enhancing factor
    • A level 5 felony

Police added that Jamerson is reportedly already on parole for a 2018 meth dealing charge.
