TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — The Terre Haute Casino Resort presented a check on Sept. 6 to the Wabash Valley Fair Association.

According to a press release sent by casino staff, a $5,000 check was presented as a contribution to the 2023 Vigo County Fair, which was held July 8-15 at the Wabash Valley Fairgrounds.

“Terre Haute Casino Resort is excited about being a part of the local community and proud to support local activities such as the Vigo County Fair,” said Mike Rich, Vice President and General Manager of Terre Haute Casino Resort. “We are thankful of the Wabash Valley Fair Association in providing an enjoyable, safe event that serves the needs of the Wabash Valley Community.”

The Terre Haute Casino Resort is scheduled to open in Spring 2024.
