HILLSDALE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — A Terre Haute woman was injured Tuesday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash in Vermillion County.

According to the Vermillion County Sheriff’s Office, Amanda Grimm, 26, of Terre Haute was southbound on SR 63 at First Street in Fairview when she was struck on the driver’s side by a work truck driven by Daniel Mohr, 50, of Thorntown, Ind.

Mohr told authorities he did not see Grimm as he attempted to cross SR 63 to return to South Vermillion High School where he was working.

Grimm was transported to Union Hospital in Clinton for treatment of injuries.

While Mohr was placed at fault in the accident, a license check showed that Grimm was driving on a suspended Indiana Driver’s License with a prior conviction.
