TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — A Terre Haute man received a 16-year prison sentence Thursday for a 2018 drive-by shooting that left one juvenile injured.
Davonte Brown was originally charged with attempted murder in the case; however, in exchange for pleading guilty to aggravated battery, all other charges were dropped.
Of the 16-year prison sentence, Brown will only be required to serve half. The other 8 years were suspended. He also received credit for 579 days of time served.
