VIGO COUNTY, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — A trial date has been set for a Terre Haute man accused of murdering his mother back in 2021.
42-year-old Michael Wilson appeared in a Vigo County courtroom Monday for a pre-trial conference. During the hearing, Judge Sarah K. Mullican set a trial date for June 12.
Wilson will first appear during a status conference on April 10, with another pre-trial conference to be held on May 15.
Wilson was arrested after his mother, Gayle Wilson, 72, was found dead at her home on Carlisle Street in southern Vigo County.
Wilson has been charged with murder and theft of an automobile.
