TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — A 19-year-old Terre Haute man has been arrested for child molestation following a police investigation.
According to Terre Haute Police, the investigation began on November 9 when police were dispatched to Union Hospital for a report of child molestation involving a four-year-old child.
Police said an extensive investigation including Union Hospital staff and social workers from Susie’s Place led them to arrest Nicholas Tennis on the preliminary charge of child molestation.
Tennis was ordered to be held on a 72-hour hold to allow the state time to file official charges. Those charges are due by Thursday, November 16.
