TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — The Terre Haute Humane Society announced Friday that General Manager Sarah Valentine will be resigning as leader of its animal shelter facility.
The board, staff and volunteers at THHS said the announcement was “regretful” in a statement to the media.
“Sarah faithfully served our organization for over seven years, the last three as our General Manager,” Ray Buechler, THHS Board President, said. “Sarah has always shown tremendous dedication and commitment to the cause of animal welfare in our community and she has helped lead the Shelter through some challenging times. The THHS Board, staff and volunteers sincerely wish Sarah the very best in all her future endeavors.”
There has been no announcement on Valentine’s replacement or the hiring process for a new General Manager.
