TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV)– One Terre Haute church is hosting students around the valley on Sunday for free haircuts before the start of the school year.
Remnant Church, which is located in north Terre Haute, is partnering with several local stylists to offer haircuts for students from elementary school through college. Branden Norman, the lead pastor at the church, said he was looking forward to bringing this event to the community.
“We’re excited about it. We just wanted to try and do something different and give back to our community in a different way. If people are financially strapped, let us help you. Even a haircut can make a huge difference in someone’s life,” he said.
The event will be from 4-7 p.m. on Sunday.
