TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – With the start of school around the corner, TCC Wireless stepped in to make some family’s school shopping list much shorter.
The company distributed 150 backpacks over the weekend to families in the Wabash Valley.
This is the 9th consecutive year that the company held its free backpack drive.
Each backpack was filled with $50 worth of school supplies and a free lunchbox that contained school supplies inside.
“This is one of the big events that we host quarterly,” TCC Wireless employee, Cody Mason, said. “It’s just one day that we take away from sales and really focus on giving back to our community.”
Last year, TCC Wireless donated over $1 million backpacks across the country.
