Sullivan, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) Freshmen at Sullivan High School are studying the Holocaust.
They learned about Holocaust survivor Eva Kor through “Virtual Reality: An Eva Experience.”
The Terre haute resident passed away in July, but thanks to virtual reality her legacy lives on. Kor guides students through sites at a Polish concentration camp.
Eva and her twin sister Miriam lost their parents and siblings at the Auschwitz Concentration Camp.
The twins became part of experiments performed by Dr. Joseph Mengele.
