SULLIVAN COUNTY, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – We have an update about the special service that two organizations provided for those impacted by the March 31 tornado that hit Sullivan County.

Tide Loads of Hope, in partnership with Matthew 25: Ministries brought a mobile unit to Sullivan to offer free laundry services to the residents affected.

Tide Loads of Hope completed 70 loads of laundry for residents. That service took place over a three-day period, from April 6 – 8. In addition to providing free laundry services, teams handed out 251 personal care kits. These kits included everyday essentials such as Tide pods, Pampers, Bounty, and Charmin rolls to help bring back a sense of normalcy.
