SULLIVAN COUNTY, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — A fun annual tradition continued in Sullivan this afternoon.

The event was the annual tractor ride in which FFA students drove tractors by the elementary school and around the Sullivan Square.

It marks the end of National FFA Week and celebrates agriculture education. Sullivan FFA chapter president Gus Whitman shares what FFA means to him.

“FFA is a leadership organization where I’ve made some of my best friends from across the state and nation, and if you put the effort into it, it will allow you to succeed in so many ways,” Whitman said.

The students drove around the square three times before heading home.
