SULLIVAN COUNTY , Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — The annual Sullivan County 4-H Fair kicked off its 2021 festivities on Saturday.
The community converged on the 4-H fairgrounds as kids and adults anxiously waited to show off their animals. The fair’s first major event took place on Saturday, opening night, with the Demolition Derby at 7:30 p.m.
Fair organizers said it was great to see everyone return with smiles on their faces.
“Excited to have the fair back. I’m excited for the kids, the community as well,” Fair Board President Tim Wilson said. “It’s a big event here in Sullivan County. Brings a lot of people in. The kids really look forward to the fair every year.”
Wilson said Wednesday will be a day people do not want to miss as the fair holds its annual truck and tractor pull. The fair runs from July 17 to July 23.
