TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Most of us are familiar with the story about a prince that is cursed to live as a terrifying beast until he finds true love.

Well, starting Friday night, Terre Haute North students will be performing Beauty and the Beast in North’s auditorium (3434 Maple Ave). The students will get to act out famous characters as they tell the beautiful love story of Belle and the Beast.

Assistant Director Erin Caldwell said she’s excited to see it come together.

“Seeing the kids on stage, the thriving and doing their very best work is what it’s all about. They are incredibly talented group of kids and we’ve created a legacy of beautiful storytelling here in this program and we’re just really thrilled to see it come together and we hope that the community is too,” Caldwell said.

If you missed it Friday they will be performing all weekend. Times of the other performances are Saturday at 11 a.m., and again at 7 p.m., and also Sunday at 3 p.m.

Tickets will be sold at the door for $15 a piece.
