SULLIVAN, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Mywabashvalley.com found Indiana road crews putting down de-icer and rock salt Wednesday afternoon.

INDOT Spokesperson Jason Tiller with the Southwest Indiana district says they had a full staff out spraying roads with salt brine to keep them from icing over Wednesday evening.

He says crews will monitor the roads overnight to see if any on-call staff needs to be brought in.

The Southwest District runs from Sullivan County down to Evansville and over to Bedford.

Meanwhile, INDOT spokesperson Debbie Calder with the West Central district also said crews have been out Wednesday as well preparing roads. Another crew will monitor the roads overnight. The West Central District covers Terre Haute.
