ST. MARY’S OF THE WOODS, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV)– New students registered for fall semester classes on an appointment only basis due to the COVID-19 pandemic on Friday.
The college will hold in-person classes starting in August with restrictions in place, including smaller classes and strict cleaning procedures.
Brennan Randolph, Vice President of Enrollment Management for St. Mary’s of the Woods, said the plan for the fall semester could change.
“It’s a plan that evolves and changes as the pandemic changes. But we are making plans to return this fall. At this point, we have solid plans to make sure that it’s a safe environment for students faculty and staff,” Randolph said.
Kassi Rapier-Ward is a will be a first year student in the fall. She said she’s excited for what the fall could look like.
“If we have to wear a mask, then we’ll have wear a mask. If we have to do it online, then we’ll have to do it online. But I’m just here to get my degree and learn so I think it’ll go pretty good,” she said.
