ST-MARY-OF-THE-WOODS, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — People will be able to enjoy a theater production comedy act by St. Mary-of-the-Woods students.
Presented by the Music and Theatre Department of Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College and directed by Karen Crispin, Bad Auditions by Bad Actors will be held at the Cecilian Auditorium in the Conservatory of Music on the SMWC campus. The performance will be free and open to the public.
The comedy is based on the book written by Ian McWethy in which Carol Danes’ dream of becoming a director is finally coming true. She has only a single day to cast lead actors for a production of Romeo and Juliet, but as the auditions begin, her task turns difficult as she watches some of the most bizarre auditions a casting room has ever seen.
