VIGO COUNTY, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Four people were injured in a two-vehicle crash on SR 63 in northern Vigo County Friday.

According to Lt. Brian Dehart of the Vigo County Sheriff’s Office, the crash occurred at the intersection of Pine Avenue and SR 63.

A vehicle from Pine Avenue reportedly pulled out in front of a vehicle headed northbound on SR 63.

Dehart said two people from each vehicle were injured in the wreck and have been taken by ambulance to area hospitals. No word on the severity of those injuries.

Traffic in the area was shut down for a time, as of 1:32 p.m. all lanes have been re-opened.
