LINTON, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — What started this year, has turned into a huge event for the community of Linton.

‘Mondays on Main’ is a community event that is on every first Monday of the month. Several vendors and food trucks line up down north main street, along with other family activities, and entertainment.

“It’s just really important to get people downtown and coming into our doors,” Member of the planning committee Jenny Bradbury said.

Monday’s entertainment was Brain Pankey, a world class magician and juggler, who was also featured on America’s Got Talent in 2021. The main purpose of this event is to revitalize downtown Linton and to bring more family fun events.

“Just to have things to do in this town for our families, for the people that live here it’s just a really awesome thing to see the streets full of people,” Member of the planning committee Tiffany Todd said.

“I feel like a lot of times the things that you hear people say are, there’s nothing to do in you know fill in the blank with the name of your small town. And I like that we’re trying to do something about that,” Member of the planning committee Katie Graves said.

The last month to enjoy ‘Mondays on Main’ will be October 2. To keep updated on all information about future events you can visit their Facebook page.
