TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – The second annual Terre Haute Balloon Festival is taking flight next month.
The balloon festival will be on September 22nd through the 23rd , at Fairbanks Park. The weekend long event will include an evening glow of balloons, live music, food trucks, and more.
Balloon flights and displays are weather dependent, and will be taking place at dusk if weather conditions permit.
Chief Operating Officer for Chances and Services for Youth Brandon Halleck said it’s a great way to raise money for their program.
“It’s a new location for us, but we’re excited to have it over there at the park especially along the Wabash river. A much more intimate setting and I think it’s going to be a great venue for everybody to enjoy the balloons,” Halleck said.
Tickets are available online on their website.
