VIGO COUNTY, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Duke Energy recently donated $6,000 to the PACE Community Action Agency Inc. to assist families in the community with basic needs.

The funding will be used to support families in need through transportation, food, and clothing assistance. PACE Community Action is a non-profit corporation that is dedicated to developing and providing services to low-income residents in Southwestern, Indiana.

Officials from the PACE Community Action Agency, Inc. received a $6,000 check from the Duke Energy Foundation. The funds will be used to assist individuals and families with basic needs support that includes transportation, food, and clothing assistance. PACE Community Action Agency provides services to the following counties:

Daviess
Greene
Knox
Lawrence
Sullivan
Vigo
