TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — A couple of local parks will temporarily be closed for the Terre Haute Parks Memorial Day 5K Race.
The Terre Haute Parks and Recreation Department has announced that Deming and Dobbs Park will be closed until 10:30 a.m. on May 29 to allow the park to be clear of vehicles during the event.
Crossing guards will also be placed on Keane Lane East of Dobbs while participants in the 5K cross to and from the parks.
The Terre Haute Parks and Recreation Department want to thank the public for their patience, understanding, and support.
